To mark its 10th edition, Mosiac International South Asian Film Festival will be premiering a variety of South Asian films this year in Mississauga.
The event runs from March 23 to 26 with screenings online and at the Living Arts Centre and the Cineplex Square One cinemas, featuring new voices in the South Asian cinema, a news release stated.
“This year, the festival will showcase 40 films from Canada, India, U.S., Pakistan, U.K., and Bangladesh, which include eight feature films, four documentaries and 28 shorts,” the release reads.
The festival begins with an opening night event March 23, when a Pakistani drama film “Kamli,” directed by, Sarmad Khoosat, will be screened. There will be a talkback with renowned Pakistani actress Sania Saeed.
